Share Draft Account

The Share Draft Account is the credit union’s version of a checking account. It is offered to members who are at least 18 years old.

  • Member pays for checks
  • Overdraft protection from shares/savings only
  • $5.00 monthly service fee on accounts with less than $1,000 average daily balance
  • $25.00 NSF or return fee
  • $25.00 stop payment fee
  • $2.00 transfer fee from shares/savings per item
  • 0.10% APR dividend on average daily balance of $500 or more paid at the end of the month
  • $25.00 minimum deposit to open account

ATM/Debit Cards

  • Positive Balance File (PBF) is only sent once a day — before 10:00 AM
  • Access to share draft / checking accounts only
  • Cards are ordered (not in-house/instant item)
  • $1.00 monthly service fee regardless of account balance
  • $1.50 ATM withdrawal fee
  • $0.50 balance inquiry fee
  • $3.00 replacement card fee
  • Access to funds may be denied if loan accounts are not current
  • Excessive overdraft or abuse of account will result in debit card suspension
  • Account balances given to you may not include unposted ATM transactions from merchants or share drafts that have not cleared your account.*

* You are responsible for maintaining accurate records for your account. TxDOT Credit Union will not be responsible for overdrawn accounts resulting from giving out an available balance that does not include unposted items.
