TxDOT Credit Union is owned by its members and run by a Board of Directors elected by those members. Member financial privacy is a top priority of TxDOT Credit Union. TxDOT Credit Union is required by law to provide notice to the membership on the methods of how we collect information, how we use and safeguard the personal information given to this financial institution.

Nonpublic personal information means information about members that is collected in connection with providing a financial product or service to the individual(s). Nonpublic personal information does not include information that is available from public sources, such as telephone directories or government records.

It is the policy of TxDOT Credit Union not to disclose any nonpublic personal information about members to anyone, except as permitted by law.
TxDOT Credit Union restricts access to nonpublic personal information about members to those employees who need to know that information to provide products or services to the members. The credit union shall maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations to guard nonpublic personal information. To protect our members’ privacy, the credit union will only work with companies that contractually agree to limit their use of the information to the purposes of the marketing services or joint marketing agreement. TxDOT Credit Union will not permit these companies to sell any information we provide them to other third parties.
